Donation Pies
With the government shutdown and SNAP benefits being in weird limbo I will be helping people have delicious pie to celebrate Thanksgiving at no cost. I know it’s not much and plenty of people will not feel like celebrating, but it’s what I can do and I hope it will bring some people a moment of joy during this uncertain time.
I’m still working on the full details of how to distribute these pies - I know that I’ll be giving some to Vindeket Foods in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving (they’ll be frozen) and I’ll have some for pick up from somewhere here in Fort Collins the day before as well.
If you are in a position to donate I’ll be taking monetery donations for pies to give (cash/card/venmo) - please email me if you are interested in providing a donation. Donations can be the amount of a full pie or can be a partial pie.
If you’d benefit from a pie this year keep an eye out as I figure out how distribution is going to pan out.

Spiced Apple with Millet Crumb
Local Fort Collins Apples in a blend of “cold weather” spices (including Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves, and more), with a little lemon juice for tartness (depending on apple variety), vanilla for sweetness, just the right amount of sugar to draw out the natural sweetness in the apples, topped with brown sugar millet crumb topping for crunch and awesomeness.
